Fearless accepts resumes and digital portfolios from theater artists, designers, and technicians of all disciplines to round out our production teams. We are particularly interested in submissions from underrepresented communities.
We offer stipends to stage managers, technical directors, designers, and fight choreographers, and to other crew when possible.

Stage Manager
Stage managers are responsible for working with all cast and crew to run rehearsals smoothly and ensure performances are seamless and professional. Our stage managers work backstage and participate in scene changes, prop handoffs, and onstage presentation for each production.
Previous experience required.
Technical Director
Technical directors are responsible for working with directors and stage managers on the technical design for productions, including both lighting and sound design. During productions, they serve as board operators, ensuring the proper timing of lighting and sound cues during each production.
Previous experience required.
Backstage Crew
Backstage crew assist with scene changes, prop handoffs, and onstage presentation for each production. They work under the direction of the stage manager and in coordination with the cast and technical team. Crew may also take on specific roles like prop master, fly master, or costume master.
No experience required.
Sound Designer
Sound designers are responsible for creating all sound and audio for a production. This can include sound effects, music, building atmosphere, and how the performers are heard. The sound designer will work with the director and the rest of the creative team to ensure that the sound supports and enhances the production’s storytelling.
Previous experience required.
Lighting Designer
Lighting designers work with all members of the production teamto design the look and feel of the lighting for a performance. This can include general lighting, spotlights, strobes, and any other special effects that are required or contribute to the performance. Lighting designers play a crucial role in enhancing the visual storytelling of a production.

Fight Choreographer
Fight choreographers are responsible for planning, choreographing, and overseeing staged combat (fights) in a play. They are trained experts brought in during the rehearsal process. They act as consultants for the production, working closely with the director and actors to ensure any stage combat looks realistic while ensuring the safety of all involved.
Stage combat certification required.
